OVER 200 people packed out the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral on Friday December 12 to celebrate Christmas FOGRI style!
Revd Mark Johnstone, Minister at the Cathedral, led our Carols at the Cathedral night with his usual light-hearted mix of reflection and humour. Pupils from St Roch’s Primary School joined us to sing their favourite carols.
The very talented Prof Malcolm Sim, consultant anaesthetist, was on the organ once again while there was a reading from museum volunteer Pat. FOGRI chairman John Stuart also expressed his thanks to all those who have helped our charity over the past 12 months and outlined some of the plans for the future ahead.
Photographs Steve Campbell of the Milngavie & Bearsden Camera Club and Callum Husband from the Glasgow University Photo Society were there to capture some brilliant shots of the evening. Some are shown below with both albums available on our Facebook page here.
It was a great night for everyone who was there. If you missed it then keep a look out for next year’s carol service!
