The Friends of Glasgow Royal Infirmary opened up for Glasgow’s Doors Open Days across the weekend of September 16 and 17 – and we were excited to have so many come to visit.
Over 300 people came in for a look around, to taste some honey (courtesy of our bees!) and homebaking (thanks to our volunteer Maureen!) and to listen to Dr Morven McElroy, Consultant Geriatrician and a FOGRI trustee, give an insightful talk on the GRI’s sensory history.
Thanks to those of you who made a donation or sponsored a bee. We really appreciate it!
We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
