Fri Dec 12: FOGRI carol service
Friday December 12: it's Christmas!
Join us for a free-to-enter festive feelgood hour at the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral.
Revd Mark Johnstone, Minister at the Cathedral, will conduct the service. He is possibly the coolest, most inclusive minister we have ever met and really makes everyone feel welcome!
We are delighted St Roch’s Primary School are joining us this year. Their pupils are looking forward to singing their favourite carols – and hope you will join in too!
The very talented Prof Malcolm Sim, consultant anaesthetist, will be on the organ.
Come along, soak up the atmosphere, get in the festive spirit and enjoy! The more festive attire you want to wear the merrier!
If you are planning to come along all we ask is you register here to give us an idea of numbers (did we mention it’s free?!).
There will be a retiring collection which will be split between St Roch’s Primary, Glasgow Cathedral and Friends of GRI (a QR code to donate will be available too).
Oh and the Cathedral can be chilly so remember to wrap up warm!
From 4.30pm
Reception with refreshments in the FOGRI Museum (please DO NOT go to The Cathedral before 5.15pm). The museum is on the left as you face the Cathedral and the entrance is on Cathedral Precinct, up the stairs. Accessible access to the museum is via the hospital entrance on Castle Street. We will have nosecco, soft drinks, canapes and festive nibbles plus a raffle!

Just remember to register your attendance here.
