We are delighted to announce a series of lunchtime concerts to be held at the FOGRI Museum, supported by the Hugh Fraser Foundation and Creative Scotland.
The Resol Quartet will become our resident artists and perform new music throughout the year. They will debut works by emerging composers inspired by Glasgow Royal Infirmary alongside music that illustrate its cultural and historic context.
There will be diverse performances ranging from Indian sitar to Scots fiddle, baroque to contemporary.
In September there will be a unique chance to hear the baroque musical depiction of surgery from the court of Louis XIV along with a modern reflection of anaesthesia by Eddie McGuire.
The events will be free to enter and last approximately an hour.
Details of our first event on May 16 can be found here. Keep checking our Events page for dates and details of more performances.
